The symmetrical triangular shawl with fine lace stripes running side by side from the bottom tip to the top and bordered by narrow stripes of 3 purl stitches, starts at the bottom tip. The inc’s (2 sts in every row) are worked on RS rows after first 2 sts and before last 2 sts of row as yo inc’s, in next WS row 2 sts are worked out of each of these yo’s, which are then continued in pattern in the following RS row.
The lace pattern edge thus created on the sides of the shawl, is continued at the top of the shawl with a long horizontal lace pattern stripe, and finally the shawl is finished with an I-Cord edge.
