The raglan pullover with slight A-line is worked completely double stranded (1 strand Piura and 1 strand Modena), top down and is first worked flat up to the bottom of front neckline, then work is continued in the round. The raglan seams are accentuated by a cable pattern, which can also be found as a wider strip in the middle of the front of pullover and in the sleeve cuffs. After armhole shaping, body and sleeves are worked separately in the round, the border with rolled up hem around the neckline will be knitted on later.

MATERIAL 

• Piura 150 (200/200/250/250) g in Basalt Blue 46 and Modena 100 (100/125/150/150) g in Basalt Blue 46, 11 stitch markers (one of them in a different color), 1 tapestry needle


GAUGE 

• 24 sts and 38 rows, using needles size 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 10 or 9) and worked double stranded (1 strand Piura and 1 strand Modena) in stockinette stitch= 10 x 10 cm / 4” square

NEEDLES

• 40 cm and 80-100 cm circular needles size 3.25 mm (US 3) and 3.5 mm (US 4), alternatively a set of dpns in both sizes instead of a short circular needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 

• Circumference at bust = 98 (104/111/122/129) cm / 38.5 (41/43.5/48/51)“
• Circumference at hip = 106 (114/122/131/138) cm / 41.5 (45/48/51.5/54.5)“

• Length = 56 (58/60/62/64) cm / 22 (23/23.5/24.5/25)“
• Sleeve to underarm = 44 (44/44/44/44) cm / 17.5 (17.5/17.5/17.5/17.5)“
