The casual sweater with a Fair Isle pattern at the yoke is knitted seamlessly from the top down starting with the double-lying neck hem. The lower front neckline is worked with German short rows. After that, it is worked in rounds only, starting with the Fair Isle yoke according to the chart included, after that sleeves and body are worked monochrome.

• SHETLAND 50 g in Seagrass 74M, 25 g each in Fern 70M, Copper 25M and Jeans 12M, rest of yarn in contrasting color and same size for the provisional cast-on, 1 stitch marker, 1 tapestry needle
GAUGE
• 26 sts and 36 rnds using needles size 3 mm (US 2½) monochrome in basic pattern = 10 x 10 cm / 4“ square
• 26 sts and 30 rnds using needles size 3 mm (US 2½) with two colors in Fair Isle pattern = 10 x 10 cm /4“ square
NEEDLES
• Circular needles size 2.5 mm and 3 mm (US 1½ and 2½) (each in 40 und 80-100 cm length), if necessary, 5 dpns in both sizes, 1 crochet hook 2.5 - 3 mm (US 2)
