The hat with a textured pattern of stylized firs is worked double-stranded (one strand Shetland and Milano each) from the bottom up and ends in a wide, flat tip. A chart for the pattern is included.

MATERIAL 

• SHETLAND 25 g in Fir 69M and MILANO 25g in Pine 34, 4 stitch marker (one of them in a contrasting color), 1 tapestry needle



GAUGE

• 21 sts and 32 rnds using needles size 4.5 mm (US 6) in main pattern with two strands held together (1 strand Shetland and Milano each) = 10 x 10 cm / 4” square


NEEDLES

• 1 short (40 cm) circular needle and 5 dpns size 4.5 mm (US 6)
