The hat with a wide brim is worked from the bottom up, without dec’s and is closed at the top using the 3-needle-BO method, or the sts are grafted together using kitchener stitch. Then the hat is turned inside out and the tip of the hat is formed by creating a fold which is fixed with some sewing stitches.

• M (54–57 cm / 21.5 - 22.5“)

MATERIAL

• Como Grande Tweed 100 g in Slate Grey 28T, 1 stitch marker, 1 tapestry needle


GAUGE

• 15 sts and 24 rnds using needles size 5.5 mm (US 9) in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm / 4” square

NEEDLES

• 1 short (40 cm) circular needle or a set of dpns size 5.5 mm (US 9)
