This cardigan is worked seamlessly top down and completely double stranded (1 strand Como and 1 strand Cusi) and starts with a cable along back neckline. This cable is worked in two parts, from the center outwards. Along one side of this back neckline border, the two short sides of which will continue as front panels to the bottom of the cardigan, sts will be picked up to form back part, which will be worked back and forth up to the end of the armholes. Then the two shoulders are worked by picking up sts along the other side of the neckline border and the two front parts are formed and worked up to the end of the armholes. Back and front parts are joined together at the underarms and the cardigan is worked back and forth in one piece (seamlessly) up to and including the bottom border.

• Como 325 (350/400) g in Rose Quartz 62 and Cusi 300 g (400/450) g in Pearl Grey 37, a piece of contrasting colored yarn of same weight, 1 cable needle, 2 stitch markers, 1 crochet hook 4,5 mm, 1 tapestry needle


GAUGE

• 19 sts and 24 rows, worked double stranded (1 strand Cusi + 1 strand Como) using needles size 4.5 mm (US 7) in main pattern = 10 x 10 cm / 4“ square

NEEDLES

• Circular knitting needles size 4.0 mm (US 6) and 4.5 mm (US 7) (both 40 cm and 80-100 cm long)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

• Circumference at bust = 118 (134/152) cm / 46.5 (53/60)“

• Length = 70 (77/85) cm / 27.5 (30.5/33.5)“

• Sleeve to underarm = 52 (52/52) cm / 20.5 (20.5/20.5)“
