The close fitting cardigan with button closure and French shoulders is worked completely double stranded (one strand Shetland and one strand Piura Arte). Work starts at back part, which is worked from the bottom up, ending with a sloped shoulder line (which is accentuated with a small Estonian braid). Both front parts are also worked from the bottom up, but these do not have a sloped shoulder line, so that the shoulder line of the cardigan is slightly shifted backwards, at the top of back part.
Sleeve cuffs, pocket bands, knitted-on front button bands and double stand-up collar are also accentuated with a small Estonian braid.

• Shetland 300 (350/400/450) g in Silver Grey 05M and Piura Arte 250 (250/300/350) g in Slate Grey 28A, 9 buttons (diameter approx. 1,5 cm), 1 tapestry needle

GAUGE

• 23 sts and 32 rows, worked double stranded (1 strand Shetland and 1 strand Piura Arte) using needles size 3.75 mm (US 5) = 10 x 10 cm / 4” square

NEEDLES 

• Circular knitting needles size 3.25 mm (US 3) and 3.75 mm (US 5), 1 cable needle

• Circumference at bust = 108 (116/128/140) cm / 42.5 (45.5/50.5/55)“

• Length = 76 (79/82/85) cm / 30 (31/32.5/33.5)“
