The casual cardigan with a check structure pattern on the front and back is worked seamlessly from the top down and starts at the accentuated shoulder line (French shoulder) in the upper back. The two front pieces are knitted out of this shoulder line. At the same time, the sleeves are picked up from the front sides and widen by increases until the division of the cardigan into body and sleeves, which are then finished separately. The button band is knitted on later.
