he lace pattern-vest with dropped, backward-shifted shoulders, is worked top-down in one piece and starts at the accentuated shoulderline at the top of back part.
First, back part is worked down to the underarms, subsequently, the 2 front-halves are worked in opposite direction from back-shoulderline, where they are joined to the back part at the underarms. Sleeve cuffs and button bands are knitted on afterwards.
The length of the jacket can be adjusted according to your preferences, in that case, more material may be needed.

• COSMA 350 (400/450/550/600/650) g in Curry 08, 2 stitch markers, 1 tapestry needle, 8 (8/8/9/9/9) buttons (diameter approx. 10 mm)

GAUGE

• 21 sts and 28 rows (slightly stretched) in main pattern using ndl size 4.0 mm (US 6/UK 8) = 10 × 10 cm / 4” square

NEEDLES
• 80-100 cm / 32-40” circular needles size 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 10 or 9) and size 4.0 mm (US 6/UK 8), if necessary, a short circular needle size 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 10 or 9)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference at bust = 90 (102/114/130/142/154) cm /35.5 (40/45/51/56/60.5)“
• Length = 50 (52/54/56/58/60) cm / 19.5 (20.5/21.5/22/23/23.5)“
• Sleeve to underarm = 5 (5/5/5/5/5) cm / 2 (2/2/2/2/2)“
