Vento Sweater
Designed by Ala Szyntor / konturek
Vento, or wind in Italian.
Comfort and timeless elegance in one. With Vento Sweater it is possible. Combine wool with silk and feel this exceptional softness on your own skin. Vento Sweater is a classic that never goes out of fashion!
You will make this sweater from top down in stockinette stitch. Its neckline is V-shaped and the shoulder line has been moved to the back. This design does not require sewing at all.
You’ll start by making the top part of the sweater, i.e. the back, and then the front. Working in rows of stockinette stitch you will model the shoulder line, neckline and underarm.
Once the top of the sweater is ready, you will join the front and back. You will continue to work in rounds using stockinette stitch. Once the whole body is done, you will make the sleeves. After binding off and finishing the neckline, block the sweater.
