The Sofia Cardigan is worked top-down in stockinette stitch.

You will begin by working the shoulders with increases, then knit the back down to the underarm. The fronts are worked separately to the same length, and finally the fronts and back are joined to continue knitting the body until the desired length is reached. Next, the sleeves are worked, followed by the button band and, lastly, the neckband.

Yarn alternative: The cardigan can also be worked double-stranded with Como and Premia instead of Cusco.
