The boxy sweater with stand-up collar and dropped shoulders is worked completely double-stranded in a pattern of garter stitch and lace stripes from the top down starting the stand-up collar. in the further course of the work, the stitches for the front, back and shoulder yoke are knitted out of the collar stitches. By increasing on both sides of the shoulder yoke, the final width of front and back develops. They are worked flat until the end of the armholes. After that front and back are joined and worked in the round until the hemline The sleeves are knitted on and are also worked from the top down and in the round.
