The casual sweater is worked double-stranded, from the bottom up and flat in pieces until the armholes. The back piece is 3 cm (1 repeat) longer then the front piece at the side slits bordered with a band of garter stitches.

GAUGE

• 26 sts und 40 rows with two strands (one strand Verona and Modena each) held together in pattern 1 (unstretched, the pattern contracts a bit) using needles size 3.25 mm (US 3) = 10 x 10 cm / 4“ square
