Poncho Dina (S02/01)
Designed by LAMANA
The poncho with small lace pattern stripes, which allows for different wearing options due to its symmetrical shape, is worked from the bottom up and starts at the bottom tip of center stripe. Due to inc’s right and left of this stripe, additional stripes are gradually created that run diagonally up- wards.
When the center stripe of the poncho measures approx. 57 cm/22.4”, work is divided into two parts, for neckline shaping and both halves are worked separately without center stripe and are then joined together again. Subsequently, the second part of the poncho is shaped top down, by working dec’s, ending at the tip at the bottom. Top- and bottom edging are knitted on directly as I-Cord-edge (ICe).
